On the original account and configuration guide, it added the differences between package subscription, Lingdou credits consumption and frequent start and stop, to facilitate item-by-item judgment before purchasing.

According to the official instructions, purchasing a plan may still require system and specification configuration. Check the Personal edition access point, paying account and setup progress. If the device has not appeared yet, check the order rather than paying again.
- Confirm the current login account against the order and check whether you have entered the personal version.
- Check if there are any outstanding device configuration prompts.
- Save the order number, payment time and exact message, then check through official support channels.
Shutting down and unsubscribing solve different problems
The official FAQ distinguishes between package subscription fees and Lingdou credits consumed during operation: shutting down or hibernating does not consume Lingdou credits, but the automatic renewal of the package that has been turned on may still be deducted on a periodic basis.
- First identify whether the charge belongs to package renewal or Lingdou credits consumption in the order and bill.
- Confirm the status of the cloud when not in use; closing the local window is not a substitute for checking whether the cloud has been shut down.
- When preparing to stop subsequent subscriptions, check the current official cancellation entry and confirmation results, and keep records.
Why turning your phone on and off repeatedly may cost more Lingdou credits
The current FAQ states that the minimum consumption for each startup or awakening is 1, 2, 3, and 10 Lingdou credits for economy, smoothness, performance, and e-sports modes respectively. Multiple starts in a short period of time will trigger the corresponding threshold multiple times.
This website recommends looking at your own usage patterns and details first, distinguishing between short-term repeated activation and continuous use, and not directly treating a certain example as a bill for all configurations. When not using it for a long time, you should still choose to shut it down according to the actual cost and usage needs. Reducing the number of startups should not be interpreted as being cheaper to keep it on.
Process data before renewing or unsubscribing
It is recommended to record the package expiration time, Lingdou credits validity period, renewal amount and cancellation method, and check them separately. Just because the package is still valid does not mean that Lingdou credits must be sufficient, and the fact that the account has a limit does not mean that the device will be saved permanently. Before you prepare to unsubscribe, release, or change systems, export important files and verify that they can be reopened, and then check the data retention terms of the corresponding order.
