Basic site operation
The hosting infrastructure may process basic connection and security logs to deliver pages and protect the service. WordPress administration uses necessary login cookies. These functions are separate from the optional product analytics described below.
Optional analytics
After you choose “Allow analytics”, we count page views, product page visits, searches with a found/empty result, selected capability filters, comparisons, visits to official sites, and visible product impressions and clicks in the home-page constellation. Records contain a date, page path, broad source category and, where relevant, product IDs or capability tags.
These optional statistics do not store search text, URL query parameters, complete referrer addresses, IP addresses, account details or an identifier that follows a visitor between pages. Aggregate counts are not unique visitor counts or completed purchases.
Local choices & temporary deduplication
Your analytics choice is saved in this browser’s local storage. A temporary random ID for the current page helps prevent duplicate events; short-lived salted receipt hashes are used for deduplication. They are not a cross-page visitor profile. Comparison selections are saved in session storage so the selected products stay available while browsing in the same tab.
Decline or change your choice
Declining optional analytics does not prevent browsing, searching or comparing products. Use “Analytics preferences” in the footer to change your decision. Withdrawal stops future optional events. Existing aggregate records cannot be attributed back to you to identify and remove your individual contribution.
We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Administrative sessions, recognised crawlers and automated browser tests are excluded; test statistics use a separate test flag.
Retention & access
Aggregate analytics are retained for 180 days by default, with the retention setting controlled by the site administrator. Scheduled cleanup depends on the site’s scheduled jobs running. The reporting dashboard is restricted to administrators.
Official media & external websites
Product images are served from this site. A video player connects to the vendor or YouTube only when you choose to load it. External sites and players apply their own privacy policies. Search-engine ownership verification tags do not themselves collect visitor analytics.
Language & settings
The same analytics preference is used across the Chinese and English pages on this domain. Language selection does not automatically redirect visitors by IP address. This English notice describes the same site implementation as the Chinese privacy page.
